The Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) is inviting local producers and farmers to attend its free Agriculture Industry Forum and Trade Show in an effort to connect local producers and farmers with industry providers at the Stanthorpe Civic Centre on Wednesday 15 August.

The event will provide updates and key information on new programs and relevant industry changes. Representatives from the Fair Work Commission, employment agencies Growcom, Department of Agriculture and Fisheries and SDRC are just some of the industry representatives who will take to the stage and present updates at their individual stalls. The workshop is an opportunity for local producers and farmers to access key information on new and innovative industry initiatives in one central location.

Local producers and farmers can access key information on a range of topics, including backpacker engagement, immigration, fair work practices, workplace health and safety, training, border protection, pest management, bio-security and more.

The Agriculture Industry Forum and Trade Show will be held at Stanthorpe Civic Centre on Wednesday 15 August from 1pm to 3.30pm. Attendance is free but RSVP is essential via email or by calling 07 4681 5527.
