Owner of Radiance Academy Toowoomba Sally Andrew has been named AusMumpreneur Regional Business Excellence Award’s third place-getter.

The awards were held at Melbourne’s White Night Receptions where talented mums from across the country gathered to support and encourage other Australian mumpreneurs. Sally said she was thrilled to receive this recognition by the AusMumpreneur group against such a talented array of women. “The business women that presented had truly inspirational stories,” says Sally. “And the opportunity to rub shoulders with Australia’s best business women/mum’s was an experience I won’t easily forget.”

Co-founders of AusMumpreneur Peace Mitchell and Katy Garner say that AusMumpreneur was created to support Australian mothers who want to fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams. “These awards are all about recognising the growing number of mums who are achieving outstanding business success while balancing motherhood,” says Peace. “I was blown away by the entrepreneurial spirit of the award winners and I know that they will provide great inspiration for other mums considering starting their own business.”

Katy says that the number of women starting businesses is growing at lightning speed. “We are creating new initiatives every year to help Australian Mums achieve their business dreams,” she says. “We are proud to be the number one community for mumpreneurs and be able to showcase the best and the brightest each year through these awards.”

This is the ninth year the AusMumpreneur Awards have run and they received more than 1800 nominations across 30 categories.
