Palatine Productions kicked off Back to Nature, its micro documentary which will open the Ekka 2017 Natural Fibres Fashion Parades from Friday, 11 August. The two Queensland farming families featured in the film, the Costello’s of Gradenfloe Pastoral Company, Thanes Creek and the Simmich Family of Simmich Farming Dalby, both made the trip into Brisbane for the event, along with Brisbane-based bespoke menswear designer Mark Ferguson of Wil Valor. Producers Ian Withnall and Sharen Kenny were delighted to share the moment with cast, crew, and contributors.
Back to Nature will open the Ekka 2017 Natural Fibres Fashion Parades, which can be seen daily at 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30 pm during Ekka 2017 until Sunday, 20 August.
