More than 100 artisans will showcase their handmade creations and gourmet delights at this year’s annual Bush Christmas from 30 November to 9 December.

The Bush Christmas Exhibition was created by the vision of several Western Queensland women who believed that the amazing creations of talented rural and remote artisans deserved a greater audience. Their mission was to bring the very best of the bush to a large gallery-style city exhibition in the lead up to Christmas.

Now in its 21st year, the exhibition’s longevity is due to both the high standard of the exhibits and to the continued support of patrons who find exclusive Christmas gifts that are truly Australian handmade. With an enormous range of works for sale from both past and new exhibitors, the exhibition promises to be a gift extravaganza. Gift ideas include designer straw hats, exquisite jewellery and fashion accessories for ladies, trendy ties, fishing lures and gourmet delights for men, toys, books and dress-ups for the children, plus much more.

Homewares and garden art also feature predominantly with ceramics, glass, textile creations and sculptures to suit any décor. Satisfy sweet tooths with handmade Christmas cakes, puddings, preserves and Christmas treats. Gourmet hampers, suiting any budget and taste preferences, will make perfect corporate gifts.

Bush Christmas supports the Isolated Children’s Parents Association with daily raffles of handmade items perfect for Christmas. Visit Bush Christmas this year for the chance to discover the perfect gift for everyone on your list, including yourself!
