Carrick Aland has been named Xero’s Queensland Accounting Partner of the Year, automatically shortlisting the firm as an Australian Accounting Partner of the Year Finalist in the National Xero Awards. The announcement comes in the lead up to Xerocon 2018 to be held in Brisbane from Wednesday 5 to Thursday 6 September.

The Xero awards showcase the Xero heroes among accounting practices, bookkeeping firms or app partners that deserve to be recognised. Carrick Aland Managing Partner Wayne Turner said he is thrilled with the statewide recognition. “We have made leaps and bounds in the past few years to embrace accounting technology and the advantages it offers our firm and our clients,” says Wayne. “This has happened in no small part thanks to the dedication of our entire accounting team in Dalby, Toowoomba and Chinchilla. What is particularly notable is the impact we’ve been able to achieve with farming business clients by using cloud accounting integrated with specialist apps such as Figured. Our clients can tap into a deeper level of financial data that allows them to make better-informed decisions.”

Carrick Aland is one of Queensland’s leading rural and small business financial specialists helping the region thrive with accounting, tax, audit and wealth planning advice to individuals, businesses and farming families. Carrick Aland is at the forefront of farming technology being a pilot firm for Figured in Queensland as well as a Xero Gold Partner.
