Taylor’s Removals celebrated 100 years of family owned and operated business at the historic Gabbinbar Homestead on Wednesday 10 October.
Taylor’s is one of Toowoomba’s longest running relocation family companies. From humble beginnings this iconic business started with horse and dray and has transformed into a modern day fleet. Taylor’s continues to be owned by third generation Ray and Madeline Taylor and operated by fourth generation and current Managing Director, Melissa Taylor.
Melissa has said that the family immensely proud of this extraordinary achievement. “Whilst we have ventured into other projects and other areas over the years, our focus has always been on our core business –furniture relocation and storage services.” She adds that the business has continued to receive tremendous local support through the years. “We are very humbled to have received such significant support from the Toowoomba community. Supporting ‘local’ is such an important part of our ethos,” said Melissa. “Each generation of our business has built on our reputation for quality their parents, grandparents and great-grandparents worked so hard to establish. The Taylor Family has grown the business through hard work.”
