The biennial Bloomin’ Creative Showcase opening at the Tara Memorial Hall oversaw 225 pieces of art from across the Tara District on Friday 31 August. The event saw 80 guests commemorate local artists and their works, which are integral in preserving the arts and culture scene flourishing on the Western Downs. This year’s event featured artiste Annette Brimblecombe to launch the week-long exhibition and Western Downs Regional Council Councillor Kaye Maguire.
