Dymocks Toowoomba at Grand Central Shopping Centre will donate one dollar from every children’s book sold until Sunday 12 August to the Dymocks Children’s Charities.

The donation price can also be matched at the time of purchase and donated if desired. The funds raised from Dymocks Toowoomba will go towards delivering a Library Regeneration Program at Toowoomba North State School.

Dymocks Children’s Charities is an Australia-wide, tax-deductible charity providing high-quality books to pre-primary and primary school age children. The charity aims to reverse the shocking statistic that one in seven Australian children who leave school are unable to read or write well, aiming to intervene early to stop the issue. That is why they have developed unique literacy support programs to provide high-quality books of choice to kids as it believes every child should have the right to experience the magic of reading. The charity ensures the books delivered contribute to positive literary outcomes. Every donation more than two dollars is tax deductible.
