Combining Easter festivities and age old pioneering traditions, the Easter Vintage Festival took over the Highfields Pioneer Village over the Easter weekend. The annual event had its 21st birthday celebrating this year’s theme Following Footsteps. The festival ran from Saturday 31 March to Monday 2 April and showcased a full program of demonstrations, musical entertainment, market stalls, camp oven cooking and artisan’s displays. From vintage machinery buffs to history fanatics, there was something for everyone at this year’s festivities and thousands were enticed through the front gates.
