Our Lady of the Southern Cross College (OLSCC) is proud of its Year 12 students who studiously complete Traineeships and Apprenticeships alongside their studies, supported by academic flexibility from the College.

A wide variety of local employers generously take on these students, giving them the opportunity to commence their employment pathway and get a head start on their careers. Among them is Kevin Escano, working with McDonalds to complete a Certificate II in Retail Services. Mackenzie Bourne completed his Certificate III in Hospitality through local produce supplier Dalby Fresh, and Sam Welsh was awarded a Certificate III in Agriculture after his work with S T Welsh. Jaylee Alexander finished her Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through Dalby Beck Street Kindergarten Association Inc, Joshua Halling fulfilled a Certificate III in Agriculture through O’Keefe and Sons, while Georgia Ryan completed a Certificate III in Dental Assisting through Dalby Family Dental.
