The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce hosted its first Future Leaders Connect event for 2019 on Thursday 28 February at Fitzy’s Toowoomba. The Chamber was proud to host inspirational speaker Jules Allen, who shared her story of turning setbacks into successes. Detailing her traumatic upbringing and how she turned her life around, the young professionals in attendance left with inspiration to work towards their goals and make positive changes to improve their own mental health as well as those close to them. Proud sponsors FKG Group and NRG Services helped make this event possible, and shared their own company message of ensuring mental health is a priority in an industry where suicide and depression are rife. F45 Toowoomba Central also sponsored the event, offering free trials of its gym to members and encouraging them to use exercise as a tool to tackle mental health challenges.
