Born in 1992 as a family owned business, Goondiwindi Cotton values community. Sam Coulton and his family had already been cotton growers for more than 30 years, and made the decision to invest in a local manufacturing company to kickstart their garment production. In order to pay homage to their town, the Coultons decided to name their company Goondiwindi Cotton to reflect their homegrown values. As the brand has begun to make a name for itself, now selling in 180 stores Australia wide, the name offers recognition to the locals who have supported the brand since its early days.
Sam Coulton takes great care to ensure the integrity of the brand is upheld and is involved in every aspect of the business. He works closely with the designers, meaning there is a consistence in intent from seed right through to finished garment. Goondiwindi Cotton prides themselves on producing quality and comfortable garments and ensures they stay abreast of global trends, offering comprehensive Summer and Winter collections.
