Highfields State School hosted its annual Parents & Citizens (P & C) Spring Fair on Sunday 18 November.

After the school’s last fair was postponed due to a storm, the committee scrambled to make this event larger than the last. Family and friends of the school enjoyed rides galore including dodgem cars, obstacle courses, giant slides, jumping castles and more. To refuel, the fair hosted a variety of food vendors while a myriad of boutiques and market stalls encouraged shoppers retail therapy.

Children enjoyed the bright lights of Side Show Alley, where families tried their hand at various games, took part in face painting, pony rides and even an animal nursery. Families looking for a slower pace enjoyed numerous displays including hot rods, Batman and entertainment such as live bands, dancers and performers.
