Southern Downs author Fleur Lind will launch her latest book Local Time at Warwick Library at 2:30pm on Friday 19 October.
The book is the third of The Carrisbrook Trilogy, following A Timely Dream and No Time for Rules, which Fleur co-authored with fellow author Lloyd Hopkins. Local Time is the first book written completely on her own and follows the trilogy set in the fictitious aged-care facility, Carrisbrook Estate Home. Readers can expect to be captivated by a story all about aging outrageously and disgracefully, with fresh new characters, adventures chaos, mayhem and fun.
A native New Zealander, Fleur settled in Queensland in 2014 with her Australian husband and has drawn on anecdotes from her nine years working in aged care to pen the three books of the Carrisbrook Trilogy in the past five years.
