Celebrity chef Miguel Maestre will visit the Lockyer Valley for an exclusive cooking class and sit down lunch on 22 October.

Miguel will showcase some of Australia’s freshest produce grown in the Lockyer Valley. “This is an exclusive, hands-on opportunity to explore the stunning produce grown in the region and learn how to re-create these dishes in your own home,” Mayor Tanya Milligan said.

“The Lockyer Valley is home to fresh and full-flavoured fruit and vegetables and gourmet goodies, which I’m confident Miguel will showcase as he does best.”

The event is perfect for locals looking to learn more about the area’s produce or out-of-town visitors excited to learn from a master chef.

“If it’s stunning scenery, family attractions, museums or scenic parks you’re chasing, we have it here, as well as a range of accommodation options,” said Mayor Milligan. Tickets are $275 each for the event, which will be held on Sunday 22 October from 10am to 2pm at Plainland.
