Obstetrician and Gynaecologist Dr David Chettle has opened his practice Evolve Women’s Health at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba to provide exceptional care to women of all ages and stages of life. The practice offers comprehensive women’s healthcare services including assisting infertility issues, correcting incontinence issues or treating ovarian cysts and uterine issue.

Dr Chettle says his goal in opening the practice is to provide exceptional care to the women of the greater Darling Downs region.

“My wife and I have experienced having a baby and we understand how difficult it can be,” said Dr Chettle. “We hope our practice is to offer excellent care in a warm and welcoming environment.

“Our practice is a bit different from the usual. In our waiting room we have a separate play area for the kids, with dedicated kids TV, tea, coffee and cold water for our patients, as well as snacks and poppers for the kids.

“We hope our patients and mums-to-be feel considered and comfortable and are able to relax a little whilst visiting us.”

Dr Chettle who recently moved to Toowoomba from Brisbane with his wife and three children said the reason for the move was to provide a better lifestyle for his family with an improved work-life balance.

With extended family in Brisbane, Dr Chettle said that Toowoomba was a logical choice for his family, being just an hour and a half from the city, but also with the facilities and opportunities he was looking for.

“St Vincent’s have recently updated their facilities, so I’m excited to have the opportunity to operate in some of the new technologically advanced theatres,” he said. Dr Chettle and his family also found the local residents to be extremely welcoming. “I’m looking forward to becoming part of the Toowoomba and Darling Downs medical community.”
