Bugs for Bugs of Mundubbera and Kaloma Home for the Aged of Goondiwindi are amongst the winners of the 2017 Queensland Community Achievement Awards held on Saturday 18 November at Royal on the Park in Brisbane. The two organisations won the Prime Super Agricultural Innovation Award and the Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care respectively. Awardees were joined by 350 guests at the presentation evening, including the Hon Dr Anthony Lynham MP, Minister for State Development and Minister for Natural Resources and Mines. The event was hosted by Kendall Gilding of Seven News.
