The grounds of Toowoomba’s Queens Park will ignite once again when the spectator-friendly polo match is held on Saturday 29 September. Now in its third year, Spring Polo will feature leading polo players from all over Australia and New Zealand vying for glory to win the Tony Hooper Memorial and Spring Polo Cup perpetual trophies.

Event organisers Jo Capp, Cassandra Hunter and Maree Parsons from The Event Group Toowoomba, say the day always brings out the best in polo glamour and fashion to the Garden City. “This glamour, fashion, delicious food and drink, coupled with the beautiful ponies and the vigor of the two spectator friendly polo matches makes for a full day of excitement both on and off the field,” they said. “We are very fortunate to be able to have a polo arena right in the heart of the Garden City in the spectacular grounds of Queens Park.”

The timing of Spring Polo coincides with the Toowoomba Regional Council’s (TRC) Carnival of Flowers and provides another event during these festivities. “We would like to thank Downs Polo Club and the TRC for their continued support and all the wonderful partners that support Spring Polo,” the organisers say.
