The Practice Ignition Top 50 Women in Accounting list receives more than 500 nominations globally, recognising some of the industry’s highest achievers.

McConachie Stedman Director Amanda Roberts was honoured to be recognised as one of 2018 leading women when the list was released for International Women’s Day on Friday 8 March. “I am incredibly honoured to have been named in the Top 50 Women in Accounting for 2018,” she said. “And to receive the news on International Women’s Day. It’s a fitting day to celebrate this achievement.”

From its inception in 2017, the Top 50 Women in Accounting project has played an important role in helping to recognise and celebrate women in the accounting and finance industries who are doing inspiring things from all around the world.

This year’s awards were managed by Practice Ignition, in partnership with AccounTEK Global who received more than 500 nominations from around the world. “It’s so humbling to know that the work you do for your clients and your efforts for the community are recognised and appreciated,” Amanda said. “I’d like to congratulate all of the amazing women who were also listed and would like to thank Practice Ignition and Brooke Holmes for organising this fantastic initiative where women in accounting are celebrated.”
