Eve continuously proves her academic prowess, receiving numerous accolades including being named the Lion’s Youth of the Year winner in 2017.

Year 12 Assumption College student Eve Kelly cannot resist the call of the stage. The young performer, who started as a Year 8 student at Assumption College in 2013, has danced at Disneyland, Universal Studios, and Hollywood in America, won the Year 10 Cultural Award in 2015, and routinely receives high results in ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance exams.

Since 2008, she has received an A+ in AMEB speech exams. However, Eve has made sure her theatre achievements have not stopped her from excelling at school. She continuously proves her academic prowess, receiving numerous accolades including being named the Lion’s Youth of the Year winner in 2017. She also won the Year 10 USQ Academic Excellence Award in 2015 and the Paul Ashton’s and Associates Commerce Award in 2015, along with winning academic awards each year from 2013 onwards.
Eager to share her passion with others, Eve currently works as a student teacher at The Dance Centre – Warwick and is hoping to complete a CSTD Teacher’s Certificate in October 2017. Next year, she hopes to study musical theatre, using that as a platform to begin a career performing in musicals. She is thankful for the support of her parents, who have driven across the country to help her bring her dreams to life, and her teachers, who have assisted her in achieving her goals and have passed on their expertise.
