What do you like most about the Downs region? We are in Western Queensland, however I do love Toowoomba as it is a very pretty city large enough to service all your needs, but small enough to get from one side to the other rather quickly. Favourite Tambo Teddy to date? My favourite Tambo Teddy is a Latte Small Basil – I just love the latte colour, and they look great with a green ribbon.
McDonalds – joke! I love Asian food and whenever in Toowoomba I love going to Chinese and Thai restaurants. The first night there, when visiting my daughter, it has become a bit of a habit to get the best butter chicken with cheesy naan bread from a little place along Ruthven Street. Who inspires you? I am inspired by many people, but do think my mother would have to be a standout in the list. Trying to exercise more by taking my dog for a walk early in the morning before I start on the computer. The best way to unwind? With a glass of New Zealand sauvignon blanc. Ultimate holiday destination? New Zealand. I love travelling overseas but the best holiday is when we go over to New Zealand and up to my family’s bach in the Marlborough Sounds. You can only get to it by boat, and there are no phones or power — so it is a real holiday, and I don’t even take my computer. It is the best opportunity to totally switch off.
