A new exhibitor has joined more than 100 artisans who will showcase their handmade creations and gourmet delights at this year’s annual Bush Christmas.

Annette Piper specialises in handmade jewellery. Utilising only natural gemstones, cultured pearls and precious metals, Annette draws on her traditional artisan skills and knowledge of what looks fantastic and feels great to wear to design jewellery that lets you walk into a room and make it your own.

As a gemmologist, she personally selects gems and pearls from the best sources all over the world. She has many stones cut to order to ensure clients get quality gems in rare designs.

She handcrafts every piece of jewellery in her studio atop the Great Dividing Range in NSW, creating beautiful jewellery that is one of a kind.

Annette spent her childhood travelling between the family farm and distant parts of the world with her adventurous family.

After school, she moved to Sydney, working for a master jeweller and two jewellery houses. There, she also gained her Diploma of Gemology.

After settling down on a farm near Coolah and having her own family, Annette began designing and hand crafting one-of-a-kind and limited edition jewellery.

She says her jewellery is ideal for the woman who treasures individuality and quality and buys her jewellery to last for years, not just a season.

With everything from quality leather goods, beautiful books and body products to exquisite jewellery, exclusive homewares and works of art, there is something for everyone at this years Bush Christmas in Toowoomba.

For the gourmet lover, there will be a multitude of goodies on offer, including handmade biscuits, puddings, dressings, spices and teas.
