Electrolux’s Appetite for Excellence awards served local produce to burgeoning hospitality stars at Wellcamp Airport on Monday, 3 July. Toowoomba-based, award-winning chef Amanda Hinds created a three-course Darling Downs inspired menu, including sorghum, Black Angus Oakey Beef, quail, Lockyer Valley root vegetables, and Queensland’s first truffles of the season. Participants were also given the opportunity to meet and learn from local farmers and producers.
