Assumption College Warwick 2020 school captains are Hayden Doherty, Tori Abood, Connor Murphy and Lauren Mann.
As the Academic School Leader, Hayden Doherty has proven his ability to broaden his academic achievements by competing on the athletic field, as well as playing Cricket, Rugby League and in the Confraternity Cup. “As a leader I hope my actions inspire others to learn more, do more and become more during my last year at Assumption College,” Hayden said.
Following a strong passion for the arts, Tori Abood demonstrates strong achievements in academics including Chemistry, Drama and Religion. Tori also received the overall Year 11 Academic Excellence Award. As Cultural Leader, Tori wishes to be remembered at Assumption College as a leader who was welcoming, passionate and inspirational.
When not out on the field, Sports Leader Connor Murphy has won Bronze and Silver Academic Awards. Throughout his years at Assumption College, Connor has played on the Assumption College Broncos Cup Premiership Winning Team and participated in various other Broncos Cup, Cricket and Confraternity teams representing the school. Murphy aspires to attend The University of Queensland and gain a Degree in Exercise Psychology or Physiotherapy.
Supporting Assumption’s reputation for personal excellence, Lauren Mann has an air of resilience and acceptance that resonates perfectly with her title as Faith & Social Justice School Leader. “I am hoping to attend university and do a Social Science Degree possibly majoring in Social Justice or Media, Communication and Social Change,” Lauren said.
