The event is returning after three years and the FLA as offering the hour-long private flights from Toowoomba’s Wellcamp Airport to the world recognised beef exhibition on Wednesday, 9 May, with flights departing at 7am and returning that night.

Guests can take in the tastes, sights and sounds of Beef Australia’s facilities, get exposure opportunities from local supply chains and international industry.  as well as featuring more than 4500 cattle from more than 30 breeds. Overall, it will be a celebration of all facets of the Australian beef industry. The event is hosting a trade fair that will promote more than 500 businesses and feature symposiums, seminars and property tours to deliver new research information to producers. The star of the show is the world class restaurants, celebrity chefs and cooking demonstrations for visitors to appreciate the quality and flavour of Australian beef.

FLA general manager Bruce McConnel believes it is the largest beef industry networking event in the country. “This flight gives local businesses the perfect opportunity to be involved, grow their networks and learn of current and future trends within the industry. Further, the networking on the flight itself, with likeminded local businesses, will be valuable to all involved. Myself, and FLA staff, will be available prior to the event and on the day to assist participants in making the most of the event,” he said.

School students will also be able to participate in the event with opportunities to undertake a Paddock to Plate Tour. The tour’s experiences include meeting a cow, cooking alongside a celebrity chef, and exploring farm life with a virtual reality experience. Students visiting also have access to the Kids Zone where free play activities such an interactive board game, petting zoo, giant chess and Jenga and live performances will take place.
