YellowBridge and Emerge Cafe, two Toowoomba community organisations, co-hosted the Biggest Morning Tea to raise money for cancer research at Emerge Cafe on Thursday 23 May. More than 50 guests attended the fundraiser which featured guest speaker and author Jeanette Hamilton. YellowBridge Chief Executive Officer Penny Hamilton said the event was an opportunity for the two organisations to give back to a community that generously supports them. The major raffle prize was donated by St Mary’s College and Jeanette Hamilton donated all the proceeds from her book sales.
