Oscar Oscar and Metro Care partnered to host a dads and daughters hair styling workshop Blokes and Braids on Tuesday 4 September.  Twenty-two dad and daughter duos attended the evening, enjoying food, drinks and games in Grand Central’s Dad Cave before moving to Oscar Oscar for styling lessons.

Oscar Oscar Salon Partner Hollie-Jay Taylor and Metro Care’s Matt Gregg said they were excited to provide a night for dads and daughters to bond and also give back to the community. “This was a perfect opportunity for fathers to bond with their kids whilst making a difference by helping those in need. Proceeds from the night are going to support METRO Care and the new Fresh Cuts program, providing free haircuts to people doing it tough,”said Hollie-Jay.

The event included an evening of interactive workshops where dads had the opportunity to learn professional hair tips and kids learned how to “brush like a boss”, a workshop that Matt said helped to bond the duos. “We’re thrilled to once again work with Oscar Oscar to create such a unique event which will help us continue to change lives among the local community,” said Matt.
