Spread the spirit of Christmas by buying locally sourced ham and give back to a local charity through the Holiday Ham Drive. This initiative by award-winning Westridge Meats, helps raise funds for the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

For every ham purchased through the Holiday Ham Drive, Westridge Meats will donate $5 and 10% of the retail price to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.

Owner and Senior Butcher of Westridge Meats, Luke Jensen said they are committed to giving back to charity and supporting local farmers. “It’s really important for us as a family and a business to support our community especially during these times of drought and bushfires,” he said. “For many people their Christmas table isn’t complete without a ham, and our Holiday Ham Drive initiative is a great way for our community to purchase quality local ham, support the local farmers as well as give back to the Toowoomba Hospital Foundation.”

Toowoomba Hospital Foundation CEO Alison Kennedy said the Foundation gets inundated with offers of help throughout the festive season and the Holiday Ham Drive is a wonderful way to give back. “The Holiday Ham Drive truly is a great initiative where everyone benefits. By purchasing ham through this Drive, you’re supporting local business, supporting farmers doing it tough, the life-saving work of thehospital, and getting a yummy ham on your Christmas table,” Ms Kennedy said.

Westridge Meats was awarded Best Ham in the region at the AMIC Awards and recently won Silver at the Sydney Royal Smallgoods and Charcuterie Competition at the Sydney Royal Fine Food Show.
