Nominations are now open for the Queensland Community Achievement Awards. Residents from regional areas are encouraged to nominate an outstanding achiever.

The award started in 2002 with a regional focus which has now expanded statewide. The awards have been encouraging, acknowledging and rewarding the valuable contributions that individuals, communities and businesses are making throughout Queensland. These awards recognise those that work tirelessly to improve their communities by promoting the social, economic and environmental prosperity.

The Achievement Awards have been launched for 2019, with nominations now open. Nominations are accepted across the categories Australia Pacific LNG Community Hero Award, Prime Super Agricultural Innovation Award, Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award, Pullenvale Ward Outstanding Achievement Award, Ricoh Australia Customer Service Award, Queensland Government Small Business Achievement Award, Awards Australia Community Group of the Year Award and the Synaco Safety Award.

Winners receive excellent prizes, with each category winner receiving a $2500 award prize from Foundation Partner, Commonwealth Bank. Plus, every nomination will receive a certificate of achievement.
