The Hutchinson Builders Toowoomba International is on again this year from October 1 to 9 at the Toowoomba Regional Tennis Centre.
The Australian Pro Tour event will feature up and coming tennis stars and will also allow opportunities for the community to become involved. Running alongside the event, the Hutchies Corporate Challenge allows local businesses to raise money for charity, have fun and go head-to-head in a fun yet competitive round robin doubles event, all the while raising funds for RACQ LifeFlight.
LifeFlight supply doctors and nurses to all Queensland-based rescue helicopters, the Royal Flying Doctors aircraft as well as road ambulance services to provide pre-hospital retrieval medicine and care to seriously ill and injured patients.
Each corporate team is required to raise a minimum of $500 dollars for the charity and the team who raise the highest amount will receive a prize.
The aim of the challenge is to have fun and raise money with players of all skill levels welcome. There is, however, an incenvite to play well as the finalists will compete on centre court before the women’s and men’s single finals.
