More than 300 people came to Wellcamp Airport on Tuesday, November 17 for the charity event, Runway Fashions. The charity luncheon was organised by local women, Lizzie Carr and Anne Howard, to raise funds for not-for-profit organisation DEBRA Australia (Dystrophic Epidermolysis Bullosa Research Association), to help Australians living with the rare skin condition, Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB). Their granddaughter, Lola, suffers from the rare disease. The event included raffle prizes and a fashion parade by Australian designer, Liz Davenport. More than $27,000 was raised at the event, surpassing expectations.
