The latest fashion for the autumn winter season are being featured on Grand Central’s Digital Runway.

Grand Central Marketing Manager Marieke Bridgeman said the flavours of autumn’s style are whetting the appetite for the winter season to come with a scattering of fashion’s favourite colours, from cornflower blue to the rich palettes of burgundy and green and some lilac hues. “The autumn palette is a melting pot and is creating the foundation for winter, while allowing for your own personal injection of style,” she said. “Vivid colour, black and white, and bold and graphic prints will always have their place among neutral tones and shades. Add a punch of pink with a cosy sweater to your black and white check pants, or a sunshine yellow shoe to your basic blacks! There’s also no escaping leopard print – it is without question the print of the season.”

Grand Central’s key tips: Think oversized when it comes to your coats, jackets and totes; Don’t forget the soft, voluminous maxis in floral prints are not limited to summer days just add boots and a gorgeous hat; Cornflower blue will be the colour to brighten up any day.

Bridgeman said the centre does regular fashion shoots featuring the latest trends and fashion in the centre, which are then featured on the two metre high digital runway screens. “The digital runway is located in the fashion hub of our centre, the Retail Galleria,” she said. “The latest shoot features retailers including Country Road, Florence & Marabel, Seed, Myer, R.M. Williams, Peter Jackson, Witchery, SHEIKE, Portmans, Jacqui E, Bardot, Blue Illusion, Witchery, Trenery, and Rodd & Gunn.” Local production company Thru a Lens Media once again shot the footage for Grand Central’s digital runway.
