Customers can purchase a five dollar pink gin spritz with any main meal, with the proceeds of every spritz being donated to Share the Dignity Australia. Vapiano has recently teamed up with Australian charity Share the Dignity to support Australian women who are faced with homelessness, poverty and domestic violence.
With a staggering 48,000 women experiencing homelessness in Australia, Vapiano Owner Will Cooke hopes that Drink Pink Wednesdays can help Share the Dignity reach more women in need. “Share the Dignity does some incredible work for Australian women and families in tough situations and we’re extremely proud to be able to support them with our Drink Pink Wednesdays initiative,” said Cooke. “Drink Pink Wednesdays will run each Wednesday from 5pm and we hope to see the local community joining us to support Share the Dignity over some delicious food and refreshing pink gin spritzers.”
While all support is appreciated, Share the Dignity Founder and Managing Director Rochelle Courtenay loves when businesses come up with their own unique initiatives to support their cause. “We’re so excited to partner with another like-minded business that shares our passion of helping women in need and are grateful to all who support us via Vapiano’s Drink Pink Wednesdays,” said Courtenay.
Drink Pink Wednesdays will run from 5pm each week at Vapiano Toowoomba and the other six Vapiano restaurants across Australia.
