Bill Bolton’s Vision – 60 Years On is being hosted at the Toowoomba Regional Art Gallery. This is a visionary collection containing over 400 works of art, with extensive holdings of Lionel Lindsay’s internationally-renowned works on paper, as well as masterworks by leading artists such as Rupert Bunny, Frederick McCubbin, Sir Arthur Streeton and Tom Roberts. The library collection, with some 3000 manuscripts, maps and books (including many rare and first editions), presents an exemplary snapshot of Australian history and literature. There will be a Sunday session held on 9 June at 1:30pm showcasing a collection of geniuses including Bill Bolton and the Lindsay family presented by Jayson Althofer. As well as a Twilight Tour on Thursday 18 July at 5:30pm as an opportunity to get up close and personal with Lionel Lindsay’s prints.
