Boondooma Spirit of the Bush

Originally started as a fundraiser for the Boondooma Homestead in 2001, the Spirit of the Bush Heritage Weekend and Muster has grown each year and is now one of the major events on the South Burnett event calendar. Attracting more than 800 people from across Australia, visitors will be entertained by some of the country’s best balladeers and poets, with walk up artists also welcome. The event incorporates an ANZAC Day service, guided historical tours, vintage car and engine displays, and a market, all in the beautiful surrounds of the historic Boondooma Homestead. Stay for a day or camp for the week, with plenty of camping and van sites are available for those wishing to make the most of the event.
