Silversmithing Workshop With Dan Cox

Renowned silversmith (specialising in handcrafted jewellery), Dan Cox will be hosting a two day course in March. Participants will be shown the techniques necessary in order to make a silver ring and provided with a variety of materials to create their own custom designs.

Blacksmithing Advanced Workshop With Terry Drennan

Australian champion in blacksmithing and farriery, Terry Drennan will guide participants through this two-day course in order to further enhance their skills. All who attend are expected to have completed the Blacksmithing Beginner’s Program and, once completed, this course will enable them to participate in the Blacksmithing Project Workshops.

Millinery Workshop with Michelle Jensen

Award-winning milliner, Michelle Jensen will conduct a two-day workshop in March. Participants will be guided through the step by step process of making a custom felt headpiece. Jensen will demonstrate traditional blocking, stiffening and trimming techniques in order to provide attendees with the knowledge needed to create a successful piece.

Millinery Workshop with Johanna Guerin

Johanna Guerrin, an award winning milliner for international races (Dubai World Cup and Royal Ascot) and Broadway musicals (Wicked), will be conducting a two-day event at the Cobb+Co Museum in March. Participants will be taught the traditional blocks and techniques required to create a felt Cloche hat (worn by women in the 1920s).

Copper Sculpture Workshop with Richard Apel

Under the expert tutelage of Richard Apel, participants will have the opportunity to create three dimensional copper sculpture using copper sheet, wire, pipe and a solder fixative.

Resin Jewellery Workshop with Anita Baills

During this day long work shop, mixed media jewellery artisan Anita Baills will various types of resin and their uses in jewellery making. Participants will be able to create a resin bangle, and a mould to continue working with resin at home.
