Curator Conversation

Curator Conversation is a series of entertaining talks hosted by the Queensland Museum Curator, Jeff Powell, on the first Wednesday of each month. Hear from Toowoomba Regional Council Mayor, Paul Antonio and Principal Economic Development Officer, Shamus Garmany, as they talk about Toowoomba’s economic development into the future. The Toowoomba Region is on an upward spiral of economic development with major investments in the Toowoomba CBD, Toowoomba Wellcamp Airport, the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing and the Brisbane to Melbourne Inland Rail Project. The Toowoomba Region is expected to have a population of around 210,000 by 2031 and to grow by an additional 10,000 jobs by 2041.
