Toowoomba’s first Death Cafe will be held at Sweet Talk Coffee, to create awareness around the taboo topic, death. Death Cafe is a discussion group rather than a grief support or counselling session, aiming to talk about how we live rather than how we die. At a Death Cafe people gather to eat cake, drink tea and discuss death, talking about everything from advanced care directives to grieving rituals.
