Downlands Art Exhibition

One of the region’s most comprehensive annual art exhibitions is set to flourish this Spring at Downlands College Toowoomba. Featuring more than 1000 pieces from more than 200 artists, the exhibition has something for everyone. The curator strives to present a large, formal gallery space with artworks curated primarily by genre. Dedicated and innovative artist Rex Backhaus-Smith will be exclusively displaying a selection of pieces which focus primarily on his deep feelings for the land. Delicious cakes, sandwiches and tea and coffee are available for a relaxing day contemplating art. The Gala Opening will take place on Friday 21 September from 7pm.
