Drought Community Outreach
The Australian Government Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Cities and Regional Development will be hosting 16 community drought outreach support sessions to drought-affected areas throughout Queensland. The events will offer personalised advice to farmers and outline support options available to them. Members of the community are encouraged to attend to help educate and prepare for the long-term economic and social impact of drought. Peak agricultural bodies and rural mental health services will be present along with other affluent groups in the industry.
