Hands on Workshop

Join Australian Champion Blacksmith Terry Drennan for a lesson in our custom built blacksmithing shop. Learn techniques such as drawing, upsetting, squaring, rounding, forge welding, riveting and barley twisting.Β In the Blacksmith basics workshop you will make a set of blacksmithing tools including a cold chisel, hot cutter, round punch, oval punch, centre punch and tongs. As well as your tools, you will take away the basic skills of blacksmithing including operating a forge and using the tools and anvil. After completing this workshop, you are eligible to participate in the Blacksmithing Advanced Workshop. The Advanced workshop participants will learn scroll work and make a decorative fire poke and rake.
