Poetry of Drawing Workshop

Exhibiting artist Fiona Rafferty will conduct a workshop that takes the act of drawing into another dimension. Through the immediacy of drawing, participants will be able to sketch ideas and concepts for a variety of projects. Participants will explore their favourite works of poetry, translating ideas from written word into a series of drawings. This workshop is suitable for all ages and a range of skill levels. All that is required is a favourite poem by an Australian poet, an unlined sketchbook, a drawing 0.2 Staedtler pen, and a 2B pencil, eraser, and sharpener.
