Self Portraiture and Exploring The Self

Chris Abrahams’ exhibition, Exploring the Body as Self, uses self portraiture to examine experiences of embodiment. Abrahams uses a range of media including etching, painting, drawing, and ceramics to create the self portrait. Hosted at the University of Southern Queensland’ Arts Gallery in Toowoomba, the face is the main focus of the exhibition and aims to explore Abrahams sense of self using his body as a tool to do so.
