The Queensland Quilters Inc. Art Quilt Group presents the ‘State of the Art,’ the 2017 traveling exhibition is showing at the John Mullins Memorial Art Gallery. Quilting is an art form that uses both modern and traditional techniques to create art objects. The quilter experiments with textile manipulation, colour, texture, and mixed media to explore a concept or idea often pushing the quilt world’s boundaries.
