The Thrive on Arts creative festival at the Empire Theatre celebrates art for children and families in September, featuring activities, shows and workshops for children aged one to twelve. This year is themed around the bee, and features performances such as Fully Clothed Magic Show by Christopher Wayne, Spin by Circa Zoo, The Bear Who Loved to Dance by the Toowoomba Concert Orchestra, and many more, as well as workshops by Circa and Ready, Set, Dance.
