Toowoomba Oktoberfest

The Bavarian is bringing Oktoberfest-ivities to Grand Central Shopping Centre, giving Toowoomba residents a chance to drink, dine and party as they do in the Oktoberfest Bier Tents of Bavaria. The full day of celebrations will begin with an official Oktoberfest keg tap, followed by plenty of games and competitions – think stein holding and sausage throwing. There is also The Bavarian’s lively and energetic oompah band taking the stage giving guests of all ages a taste of traditional Bavarian entertainment. Toowoomba locals are encouraged to don their finest lederhosen or dirndl and strut their stuff for the Best Dress of Oktoberfest competition.
