The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce has announced the finalists for the 2018 Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards. The Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards are a celebration of the business community’s contribution to the economic vitality and social fabric of the region. The awards are an important recognition program that celebrates the diversity, innovation and excellence of the region’s businesses.

The awards include a variety of categories including tourism, hospitality, industry, retail and wholesale, professional and business, community, non-profit, non-government, innovation and best regional business. This year the awards introduced the Future Leader of the Year award which received 17 exceptional applicants. This award recognises young professionals who exhibit a positive approach to leadership and make a strong impact on their business and community. “This year has seen a very high calibre of businesses participate in the awards program proving to be a tough task indeed for our team of independent judges,” said Toowoomba Chamber CEO, Jo Sheppard. “Congratulations to all finalists – this in itself is a great achievement and something that you and your team can be proud of. Winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner on 10th November and I look forward to celebrating with both finalists and winners on the night. The Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce Board is also excited to induct this year’s chosen business into the Business Hall of Fame. A big thank you to our sponsors and our judges who together have enabled Chamber to again deliver the awards program this year.”

The 2018 Heritage Bank Business Excellence Awards Gala Dinner will be a red carpet, black tie affair celebrating Business Excellence across the Toowoomba region on 10 November. A full list of the nominations is now available on the Toowoomba Chamber of Commerce website.
