Three years after first opening its doors, local Toowoomba fashion boutique Florence & Marabel has made the move into a brand new store in Grand Central Shopping Centre.
The mother and daughter duo behind the popular local boutique, Donna Mills and Alex Cook, share a love for fashion, and their desire to bring their favourite Australian and European labels to Toowoomba saw the birth of Florence & Marabel in 2015. From their humble beginnings in Duggan Street’s Australia Arcade, the ladies launched an online store which allowed their rural customers better access to their products. Since the launch of their online shopping platform and with the help of social media, the ladies now ship their products all over the country as well as New Zealand.
Moving their store to Grand Central was a no-brainer for Donna and Alex. The business was born out of Donna and Alex’wish to create a boutique to bring together pieces that were both on trend and timeless. Each collection brought into the store is hand-picked by Donna and Alex, with an aim to provide high-quality pieces to their valued clientele. “We are so fortunate to have a world-class shopping centre here in Toowoomba and trading amongst an array of large, sometimes international brands, is a real privilege for our store,” said Donna.
“Our new position will allow us to introduce Florence & Marabel to a wider customer base who may not have stumbled across us prior,” said Alex.
The ladies expect a busy introduction to their new store with the Christmas period fast approaching. The new Florence & Marabel store can be found between Oscar Salons and Mecca Maxima at Shop 1062, Level One, Grand Central Shopping Centre.
