This October, hundreds of women across the state have caught up with their girlfriends and hosted a Girls’ Night In in support of Cancer Council Queensland to raise awareness and funds for women’s cancers.

Cancer Council’s Girls’ Night In fundraising campaign encourages women to lock in a catch up with their friends, and simply donate the money they would have spent on a night out to support those impacted by breast and gynecological cancers.

Cancer Council Queensland CEO, Ms Chris McMillan assured women that it’s not too late to get involved. “Although it’s well into October, there’s still plenty of time to host your Girls’ Night In,” Ms McMillan said. “Wherever you are across Queensland, when you register and bank your fundraising by October 31, you go in the draw to win a two-night stay at Sofitel Brisbane Central for you and three friends.”

When you use the hashtag #ourgirlsnightin on social media, users enter a draw to win the Ultimate Gold Class movie package for you and three girlfriends. “We encourage you to share your Girls’ Night In stories on social media and capture the attention of your wider circle,” Ms McMillan said.

“Girls’ Night In raises vital awareness and funds to help support women impacted by breast and gynecological cancers and by hosting a Girls’ Night In for Cancer Council Queensland, not only can you spend valuable time with friends, colleagues, customers, and loved ones, you can also raise funds to support more than 4,300 women across the state who are diagnosed with a women’s cancer every year.”
