The Stanthorpe Johnny Cash Country Music Festival (JCCMF) will return this year, taking place across two days at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds on Friday 2 and Saturday 3 November.

This year’s two day event will climax at the main concert performance which sees the return of Dale Hooper with The Tennessee Drifters, recognised as one of Australia’s best Johnny Cash tribute bands. Last year they delivered a spectacular selection of Johnny Cash classics, to the delight of a large, hugely appreciative audience. This year there is expected to be more as they they will be supported by three nationally respected country and rockabilly groups.

Johnny Cash, with his wife June Carter, were regular visitors to the town of Stanthorpe and had an immediate and long-lasting attachment to the town throughout the 1980s and 90s which has cemented the inspiration of the former 2017 Festival which has now turned into annual event.

The Johnny Cash Country Music Festival will take place at the Stanthorpe Showgrounds on the first weekend of November from 3pm.
